Demand for these sketches is likely to be very high. I’m expecting multiple offers from a number of interested patrons.
So I gave a lot of thought about the best way to facilitate the potential sales of 81 separate pieces of art in a way that'd give everyone a fair chance at picking up a piece of original art.
Selling the sketches via public auction on another platform will be extremely complicated for so many sketches. Consequently, I’m offering the sketches for sale via silent bid. That will also mean that the bids will have to be “blind”.... Because I’m not willing to message multiple patrons whenever they’re outbid in auctions for 81 sketches.
I’ll be accepting offers over the next 2 weeks. The cut off point will probably be Wednesday August 16th at 16.00 GMT

Hello!
A few folks have been asking us when the pledge manager and late pledges will open. We've been a little bit delayed on this, due to two things:
1: Wayne's recent personal circumstances
But more more relevant has been:
2: I've been working on getting the best deal for the price of shipping before we launch that pledge manager.
That is now all in place. It has taken a little bit longer than we anticipated, but we'd rather you got a good deal on shipping rather than open the pledge manager with higher costs to you. I have a little bit of data entry to do with the finalised pricing on shipping, and then we'll get that pledge manager open, alongside late pledges. Thank you for your patience.
Rest assured, none of this has impacted the production schedule at all! We're all set to go to print any day now. We'll keep you informed when that happens.
Speaking of which - right at the end of last month we got a sample copy of the deluxe book! Naturally this isn't relevant to everyone, but the internal pages will be the same for every backer, so worth a look:
That's it for now. As soon as the pledge manager is open you will receive an email asking you to log into Backerkit, or create a Backerkit account. I believe it is also possible to complete the Backerkit process without an account, but I'll need to check my facts there.
It's all entirely routine stuff, and we'll be here to help if you run into any problems, and we will of course update here when that happens so you won't miss anything if you check in on updates as they occur.
The benefit of the pledge manager is that you'll be able to change your address should you need to, and add on any additional copies of the book you might want too. And from our side it makes managing fulfilment of your books that much easier. Which is a good thing.

June Update - Ready to print, Pledge Manage incoming.

Hello!
Another month another update!
We have our print files all ready to go and I'm finishing up the final pre-press touches on the limited editions. The exciting thing about those Deluxe Limited books is that they're printing in the UK, so we'll have those in hand within a couple of weeks of sending them off to print! The rest will take a little longer, but everything is in great shape.
We'll get the pledge manager up and running over the next week or so, where you'll be able to settle your shipping and let us know your address. Happily with such a simple campaign the routine "moon shot" level data entry requirement will be absent, so we'll get that going in no time.
Wayne has had some heavyweight personal business to attend to of late, so we're wishing him all the best, and thinking of him this week.
You all take care, and we'll have another update as soon as that pledge manager is ready for your details!

Hello friends!
It'll be a brief update today, since everything is progressing nicely.
All the text and art is now laid out and in place. We have a really interesting foreword from the mighty Erik Mona, and the finished files are currently with our proofer.
Once his final stage is done we'll get the Deluxe books straight into print production here in the UK. And while that's happening we'll kick off the process in Europe for the much larger run of regular books.
Late pledges and the pledge manager will also soon open. Stay tuned for that - we'll make an update when that goes live, at which point we'll let you know how much your shipping will be, and you'll be able to supply us with your address.
