Hello! It's all business today! We're now a week or so away from the books heading to the UK warehouse from the printer. Which means:
Addresses are locking
Shipping addresses will be locked in Backerkit in 48 hours. If you need to review your shipping address, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://rpg-saints-sketchbook-by-wayne-reynolds.backerkit.com
Haven't Been Able to Check Out?
UPDATE: PLEASE DO NOT BUY SHIPPING AGAIN IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID IT ON BACKERKIT!
I have also opened up the Shipping Shop for anyone who has had trouble checking out their shipping at Backerkit. Head to the Handiwork Games webstore, and you should be able to check out using Paypal, Stripe card services, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Don't hesitate to shout if you have any problems. And as we always say, please don't panic if you can't check out for whatever reason - we won't leave you without a book if you pledged for one.
For your convenience, here are direct links to all the various flavours of shipping:
If you don't see your region listed (ie: Canada) it falls under "Rest of World".
Thanks! Jon (and Wayne)
Feb update - printing done, addresses locking soon! Photos!

Hello! At last, the news we've been waiting so patiently for - the books are all printed, packed up and ready to ship from the printer to our fulfilment warehouse! We have a wait of approximately two weeks for that to happen, and then parcels will start to head out.
This means a couple of things: 1: We will be locking addresses in Backerkit next week. You can check and amend your mailing address for the seven days, and then we'll begin the process of locking addresses down for delivery. I will make another update next week as a reminder that we're about to lock things down.
If you need to review your shipping address, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://rpg-saints-sketchbook-by-wayne-reynolds.backerkit.com
2: For folks who have had problems checking out at Backerkit, as promised, I will open up a section of my games company web store which will allow you to pay your shipping outside of Backerkit, using a wider variety of payment methods. That information will also be sent out next week.
But that isn't what you want to see. What you want to see is the photos! The printers have been exceptionally busy - they're very good at what they do, and sending us photos hasn't been the top of their priorities, but we finally managed to get a couple:
Here's the book in its dust jacket. And you can see the bookmark there. I'm sorry that I don't have a photo of the actual cover underneath. I'll see how far I can test the printers' patience by asking for more!
Here's (some of) the books all packed up and ready to move:
We cannot wait to get these books into your hands! I'll be back next week!

Hi Everyone!
The limited edition deluxe versions have been signed!
Sorry I wasn't able to add any personal messages to the signature as we don't know which books will be sent where.
The signed editions will be on their way back to the distributor, awaiting fulfilment so everything comes together at the same time.
Things are moving now!
Thanks for your patience, we sincerely appreciate it!

January Update - Printing is done!

Hello!
Printing, we believe, is now complete! Or at least so close to complete that it makes no difference! We're therefore now awaiting final confirmation of the timeline on shipping to our fulfilment partners. Naturally I was hoping I'd have that information for this update, and we could hang on until the last day of the month to squeeze it in, but I don't think that's the right thing to do.
So we're still in a bit of a "hurry up and wait" position, where everything is moving forward, but we don't have much to share with you beyond checking in and letting you know that it is all happening.
What's Next?
When we get a confirmed notice of the books moving to our fulfilment warehouse we'll start the process of locking down addresses. We want to leave your addresses open to change for as long as possible, so that if you've changed address since completing your shipping info, you still can. We'll update when that process starts so you have as much warning as possible to check we have the right address for you.
At that point we will also check in with anyone who has had card troubles with Backerkit, and provide an alternative way to pay your shipping and confirm your address with us. Please don't worry if you're still awaiting finalising those last few steps - we won't leave you behind!
Signing Time
I'm reliably informed Wayne is breaking out his signing pen this weekend, as it's time to get those signed deluxe books signed and sent off to be fulfilled, so that everything comes together at the same time. Stay tuned for more on that!
That's it for now - but hopefully things get a bit more exciting from here! Thanks for your patience, we appreciate it!

December mini update
– Sat, Dec 09, 2023 at 04:12:49 AM
Hello!
Let’s have a mini update!
As advertised, we aim to do an update per month, and there’s a bunch of good reasons for this - it lets us gather meaningful news together, it means we’re not bombarding you with updates for every little detail, it means updates with have solid content about progress, the results are easier to navigate and more people read them.
But enough folks have used the “request an update button” that we’re swayed to update before we have our exciting December news to share. So let’s summarise where we are:
We’re still at print. We’re currently in a bit of a queue.
We’ve arranged a really great deal on shipping the books from the printer to the fulfilment warehouse with a partner company so that we know it will be very straight forward part of the process (post-brexit things are not as easy as they once were).
This arrangement to piggy-back our books into a much larger shipment is definitely the silver lining of a bit of an unexpected wait for printing. It means our shipment isn’t sidelined as some tiny thing that no one in global logistics takes seriously. Which is all to the good.
I’m hoping to have some photos of printed books and printing happening for our December update, which is why we’ve been holding off. But hey. Folks want to hear from us so here we are, pre-photos!
I’m also hoping that we’ll have books in the UK warehouse before Christmas, but we’re now into the stage where things are down to the printer’s workload and our partner companies’ schedules. We don’t have any hands-on control of that, but things are still progressing forward nicely, if a little slower than would be ideal. Sometimes to get the quality we want we have to wait.
Problems with backerkit
We remain aware that a handful of folks have had problems with checkout on backerkit.
We will be providing alternative payment options via a webstore. I think it’s best to do that as we get closer to books being on hand. It remains firmly part of the plan.
We categorically will not leave backers or late pledgers without a book if you paid for a book. We take that very seriously indeed. Please don’t be worried if Backerkit hasn’t worked for you. We’ll figure it out between us.
Right, that’s it for now - I just got an email from the printer so I need to go and check in on that. We’ll be back before Christmas with more news.
