Printing update
– Fri, Nov 03, 2023 at 10:08:23 AM
Hello!
First up take a look at the standard edition dust jacket. Your pledges unlocked one for every standard book.
Underneath this dust jacket will be the faux leather and foil cover we've shown since the outset.
Speaking of books, we've been busy arranging print, shipping and fulfilment, which is now ready to go, and we have all our files in place to begin. That's taken a little longer than planned, but it's all well worth it to get the right result!
A few folks have been having problems with the pledge manager not accepting their cards. We'll do a big round up right after we hit go on the print run, and if it remains clear that we need to offer this, we'll provide a slot on the Handiwork Games webstore where you'll be able to pay for your shipping in a host of different ways, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal as well as with credit and debit cards.
Please don't worry if you're struggling - we'll make sure you get your book!
Right that's it for now - we will be back soon now that things are all in place!
Have a great weekend!

Cards charged, please complete your survey if you are yet to do so!

Hello!
As advised we hit the charge cards button today. If there were any issues with your payment - and this could be the bank rejecting what it regards as an unknown transaction, or if there's insufficient funds to cover the purchase, (happens to the best of us!) - you'll be sent an email to update your payment settings. Please know that you're not alone if this happens, and it's routine for Kickstarter creators to work with this as part of the process.
As I've mentioned in comments, if any email from us or Backerkit seems suspicious, simply log into Backerkit separately to any email contact and check you've done your survey, and that your shipping payment has gone through. You do not have to click links in emails to access your Backerkit account. And it's always good to be cautious.
Survey Reminder
96 folks havent done their surveys despite copious automated reminders, and me mentioning it a couple of times here. Often this happens because the email address you use for Kickstarter isn't one you check, or in many, many cases it's a privacy-protecting Apple address, which means we have no way of contacting you.
I'll be 100% up front here - while we're in no immediate rush today, we do have a duty to other backers to keeping moving forward through the process. If we get to the dispatch phase, and you haven't paid for shipping nor given us an address, we just can't send you a book.
For a certain time frame we will allow the surveys to be completed late, but after that we must move things forward. Wayne is not holding stock of the book after this campaign is fulfilled, he is working with a specialist company to fulfil the books over a set time frame, and there's a finite window to be sent your book. If you message us in 6 months having forgotten to do it, it might turn out there's no actual way to get you a book.
No one wants that to happen.
Please do your survey. Thank you so much.
Printing
We will be taking our final figures and heading to the printer with an exact number we need. Onwards! Yay!
Speak to you soon with more printing news!

Charging Cards October 2nd
– Tue, Sep 26, 2023 at 09:16:32 AM
Hello!
It's a bit of a purely functional update today!
We're ready to start booking some fulfilment services, and so we will be charging your cards on Monday the 2nd of October.
This is your friendly one week warning!
Brief aside: I can't remember if we've mentioned it in updates here, but being 100% honest we're not massive fans of this system of charging cards on a set date, rather than letting you check out your shipping or paying for late pledges when you choose. But such is the system in place, and the things which Backerkit let's us do are balanced against this.
If you're a kickstarter backer, (this doesn't apply for late pledgers who signed up at Backerkit, and who are now also getting Kickstarter updates,) and you're yet to fill out your survey then please do head to backerkit and give us your details to ensure a nice smooth delivery of your book when it's ready to be sent.
If you need a new invite to your backer survey then drop us me (Jon) a line via email at [email protected] or kickstarter message. (Again - this is not necessary for late pledgers, you're all good, we don't need anything from you).
That's it for now! Thanks!

RPG Saints Pledge Manager is opening over the next 24 hours
over 1 year ago
– Wed, Sep 13, 2023 at 07:48:05 AM
Hello!
The pledge manager is at last ready to go, and the initial 40 or so surveys have gone out. We'll wait the recommended 48 hours, and then send the rest.
You'll get a link via email inviting you to complete your survey, where we'll collect your address and the appropriate card for your shipping payment. And then when we're ready to do so, we'll charge everyone's cards on the same day.
Currently it looks like we'll be charging cards in the first week of October, but we will keep you up to date with that, and we won't hit that button to charge anyone without some notice. (I'll be honest, it's not a feature I like one bit, and I wish you could choose when to pay, but it is what it is.)
You'll be able to update your delivery address until we lock orders - again, we'll let you know about that before it happens.
There's been lots of logistics work occuring behind the scenes, which is all tremendously boring and not worth the explaining. But it's good news for us and you. Everything should flow smoothly from here, fingers crossed!
You know what? I've just had a broken tooth repair at the dentist (!) and I'm feeling very strange post-local anaesthetic, so I think I will leave it there for now - but I did want to let you know what was happening.
Watch out for that invitation coming to you via email tomorrow, if you don't already have one!
Thanks!

Limited Editions Arrive!
– Tue, Aug 29, 2023 at 07:35:38 AM
Hot off the press!
The limited edition copies have arrived from the printers to be signed.
They're looking good!
I apologise that I'm unable to sign the books with personal dedications, as I've no control over which book goes where. The distributor will be sending the books out.
I should be signing them within the next few days before shipping them off to the next logistical link in the mighty distribution chain.
I think the plan is to close the late pledge option soon so we can commence getting the books printed and dispatched to you next month.
In other news............
RPG Saints original artwork.
I received an overwhelming response to the sale of the original artwork.
At the time of writing this update, there are less than 10 of original sketches left available to purchase.
Thanks very much for your continued interest and support of this project.
